The Fast Ferry services between Valletta and Gozo will operate a new extended schedule as from Wednesday 8th March.
The new timetable was announced today in a joint press conference attended by Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri and Transport Minister Aaron Farrugia.
They said the extended service is”intended to serve primarily Gozitan workers and students” and will continue to do so while the government awaits a decision by the European Union on Malta’s request to consider the service “essential” and therefore eligible for state aid.
The two ferry operators, Gozo Fast Ferry and Virtu Gozo will share the same schedule with passengers able to travel on either ferry.
