A fund-raising activity in aid of Caritas is being held on 18 December from 10 a.m. to
noon at the Arena Club in Qrendi.
Over 60 Malta national football team players from the Sixties to the present day will attend to meet the fans, sign autographs and take photos with them.
Among the football stars who intend to attend are the oldest, Joe Cini, 86, Ray Vella
il-Mundu, Carmel Busuttil il-Busu, Jimmy Briffa, Michael Mifsud, John Buttigieg
and the youngest, Matthew Guillaumier.
Those who turn up will be asked to make a donation to Caritas.
Mgr Victor Grech and members of Caritas will be among those present.
The organising committee thanks all those who are helping to make the event a
success.
