A 72-year-old woman died after being hit by a motorcycle in Valley Road, Birkirkara.
Police said that after hitting the woman, the motorcylist skidded along the road and collided with a car.
The woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital but died shortly afterwards.
The accident happened at midday on Friday.
The motorcyclist and the driver of the other car were not injured.
