The Prime Minister had the opportunity to follow the lessons in the classrooms and hear from the educators and the students about the practical research process that the students who are following their studies in the laboratories observe in the this center.
When he was talking to the students, the Prime Minister also noticed how those who are choosing a career related to this field are constantly increasing.

“The children of farmers and fishermen are increasing in number who choose the courses offered by this institute, in fact we currently have 313 full-time students. This gives us a sense of satisfaction because they keep alive what their parents started and strengthen it through the scientific teaching they receive,” explained Professor Calleja.
In this context, the Prime Minister also recalled the government’s work in this area as with the amendment to the law on private land brought to Parliament, the government is protecting the agricultural land to guarantee the sustainability of farming, food production and the protection of the rural environment.
