Birkirkara cruised to a 3-0 win over Valletta and went top of the premiership above Hamrun on goal difference.
B’Kara went in front on the half hour courtesy of an own goal but then had to wait till late in the game to seal the win.
Enzo Daniel Cabrera’s close range effort made it 2-0 inside the last 20 minutes and with minutes remaining, Federico Falcone fired home to clinch a deserved win for Birkirkara who climbed above Hamrun to take top spot.
