Five people were injured in a traffic accident in Qrendi on Wednesday morning.
Police say that a 44-year-old man from Qrendi lost control of his car, then crashed into a parked car which in turn moved forward and hit four people waiting at a bus stop.
The driver of the car and the four people who were injured at the bus stop were taken to Mater Dei Hospital. One of those waiting at the bus stop, a 62-year-old woman from Qrendi was seriously injured.
The accident happened in Tempest Street at 8.45 on Wednesday morning.
