In a meeting with the permanent secretaries of the ministries, Prime Minister Robert Abela stressed the efficiency and implementation of the decisions taken by the government. In the highest public administration forum, the prime minister explained that the message of wisdom and priorities for the sake of stability and sustainability will not mean a reduction in the pace of work.
On the same day that the Pre-Budget Document was launched, the prime minister hinted that the government has a plan to continue supporting the people as a result of the investment and economic growth that our country continues to experience. Also in the presence of Chief Permanent Secretary Tony Sultana and Cabinet Secretary Ryan Spagnol, Prime Minister Robert Abela explained how we must continue working with the private sector that is showing confidence in our country. Here he mentioned, among others, figures from the hospitality sector for this year that exceed those we had before the pandemic, by ten percent.
“We have results that fill us with confidence both on economic growth and also in relation to investment. The electoral manifesto “Malta Flimkien” was given the trust of the people and all of us, in the different role we have in the government, must work so that this manifesto, which is now our work program, is carried out in its entirety how much”, stressed the prime minister while addressing the permanent secretaries. The prime minister also stressed the need for further reductions in bureaucracy and in favor of direct leadership but with efficiency and speed so that the government’s reformist program continues in favor of the needs of the country and the people.
