OHSA is investigating this morning’s accident at Munxar which tragically left a 29-year-old dead.
OHSA immediately started its investigations into the cause of this accident in terms of section 9 of the OHS Authority Act and will continue today and during the following days. As the investigation is still ongoing, OHSA is not in a position to make other comments at this time.
This is the second construction site fatality in the space of three days.
