Parliamentary Secretary for European Funds Chris Bonett is in Prague where he met the European Commissioner Elisa Ferreira.
He explained to her the great work being done by the Government in the closing program of the new funds programs so that from beginning of next year Malta will start to enjoy the package of €2.2 billion package that Prime Minister Robern Abela had negotiated in 2020.
He extended a formal invitation to Commissioner Ferreira to visit Malta on the occasion of the launch of these programs.
Commissioner Ferreira expressed her satisfaction for the success that the Government is making from the European Funds and she looks forward to coming to Malta to see what we have done as Maltese.
