Between Saturday and Sunday of the coming weekend, the summer Carnival will be staged in the streets of San Paul il-Baħar.
A number of main streets will be filled by over 10 trailers together with a show that starts at 7:00 p.m. and ends at 11:00 p.m.
This event is being organized by the Local Council of San Pawl il-Baħar in collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority.
These details were announced during a news conference with the participation of the Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo, the Communication Officer of the Malta Tourism Authority Noel Zarb and the Mayor of St Paul’s Bay Alfred Grima .
Minister Clayton Bartolo pointed out how according to what is drawn up in the strategy for the tourism sector for the next ten years, new methods are being explored through which the versatility in the local tourist product continues to be strengthened.
“Carnival is one of the main characteristics of Maltese culture. It is certainly a pleasure that the Malta Tourism Authority is supporting, this time with the local governments, to exhibit our traditions in the best possible way,” concluded Minister Bartolo.
