A 23-year-old Serbian woman who lived in St Paul’s Bay died after being hit by a Malta Public Transport bus on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the accident happened in Triq Notabile, Birkirkara shortly after midday.
Members of the Civil Protection Department and a medical team were called to the scene but the woman died shortly after arrival at Mater Dei Hospital.
A police investigation into the accident is ongoing.
