Ten people were arrested during an operation led by the Anti-Drug Squad in connection with drug trafficking in Valletta and Marsa.
Police had been observing two people, a 31-year-old man and a 30 year-old woman who were allegedly using at least two places in Triq l’Isptar il-Qadim, Valletta.
The pair were arrested in Triq l-Archbishop, in Valletta on Tuesday morning.
Anti-drugs officers together with members of the Rapid Intervention Unit and district police arrested seven other suspects, six men and one woman, in Valletta where officers found drugs, cash and other drugs related items.
A further police raid at a stable in Triq it-Tiġrija uncovered more drugs items and led to the arrest of a 50-year-old Maltese man.
