Thunderstorms and rain are expected to hit Malta today as the current weather front hovers over the islands.
Heavy rains in parts of Malta and Gozo on Thursday caused flooding in a number of areas and more could be expected today.
More normal August weather is expected from tomorrow according to the met office.
