The final preparations for the return of the SummerDaze Festival musical concert after a two-year absence due to the restrictions brought about by the pandemic are going on at a good pace.
This music festival spread over seven days will reach its climax in Ta’ Qali on Monday 15 August, with the participation of international artists Anne-Marie, Bastille, Elderbook, G-Eazy and Jason Derulo , as well as on August 17 with another concert with the participation of Deejay Times’s Albertino, Fargetta, Molella & Prezioso, J AX, Baby K, Corona, ICE Mc and Meduza.
For this year, the entrance price for these concerts will be €3.00 with the aim that with each ticket the people who attend these events will be given a glass that can be used more than once to the use of plastic is avoided.
During a visit he made to Ta’ Qali, the Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo stressed that everything is indicating that the attendance for this festival is expected to reach 70,000 people.
“SummerDaze is another activity through which our country continues to be among the most attractive countries when it comes to festive tourism. During this summer and even for the coming months we want to continue to offer a cultural product of competitive quality and above all versatile. I stress that quality is important because tourists and even Maltese deserve to have high level and professional activities in our country – a competitive product so that we can continue to be a versatile destination for everyone who wants to visit the Maltese islands,” continued Minister Bartolo.
He added that the recent news released by Eurostat shows how Malta is among the best European countries that attracts tourists throughout the year, and this is a living certificate that the recovery plan for the tourism sector is in the right direction.
