New Jurassic World attractions in Malta

The Maltese Film Commission launched dinosaur attractions that were part of the film ‘Jurassic World – Dominion’ which saw our country shown to the cinematographic world last June.

The aim of this initiative is that our country takes an opportunity to strengthen the niche of screen tourism through which tourists and even Maltese and Gozitan families can enjoy the experience of Jurassic World not only in the cinema but also in the towns and villages where this film was shot in our country.

The dinosaur attractions will be present in the City, Birgu and Mellieħa until the end of this summer.

These details were announced in a news conference by the Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo and the Commissioner for Films Johann Grech.

The Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo stressed that these attractions will serve as a platform for Malta to continue to be an attractive destination in the world of cinema and tourism.

“This initiative will also be an important contributor to family tourism. Another important niche for the tourist performance of our country to continue to combine two very important principles, those of quality and consistency. The quality in this case is linked to the fact that we have the name of our country at the forefront when it comes to promotion in the cinematographic world”.

“Consistency is because we not only attract productions continuously but also that Malta is a country in the history of producers,” continued the Minister for Tourism Clayton Bartolo.

The Commissioner for Films Johann Grech pointed out that the Commission will continue to work to reach the main goal of having a film industry in Malta that is world class and offers opportunities for everyone.
