The government has launched a €20 million grant scheme for businesses seeking to retrofit existing buildings in a bid to increase their energy efficient, as part of the European Commission’s Recovery and Resilience Plan for Malta.
The scheme was launched by Economy Minister Silvio Schembri and Parliamentary Secretary for European Funds Chris Bonett on Monday.
The scheme applies only to existing buildings and all projects must be completed by the end of 2025.
