A Valletta resident was injured when a gas cylinder exploded in an establishment kitchen.
Civil Protection crews and a medical team from Mater Dei Hospital were called to the scene.
The injured person was taken to hospital with injuries describes as serious.
The incident happened in Ordanance Street in the city at around 10pm on Friday night.
