The semifinals of the People’s Song 2022 festival were held in the Friggieri Hall inside the Valletta Design Cluster. Jury members listened to 40 songs sung live and selected from 131 songs entered for this edition.
The semi-final jury was made up of Dorothy Bezzina, Frank O’Neill, Johnston Farrugia (Hooli), Michael Spagnol and Tony Micallef. Notary Paul Callus confirmed the results at every stage.
These are the songs which have been chosen for final of the 46th edition of L-Għanja tal-Poplu which will be staged on July 30, 2022 in Pjazza Teatru Rjal with the participation of the Malta Concert Orchestra.
