Official figures show that the recent rise in new cases continued with 465 people testing positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours bringing to 3,590 the number of active cases.
During the same period one elderly female patient died while positive for the virus.
At present there are 77 patients in Mater Dei Hospital, of whom 3 are in ITU.
