With the signing of an agreement, work began on the project of the National Motorcycle Center in Ħal Far, with an investment of around € 20 million.
“This is an investment that will see to it that our country has an international motorsport center and that it will be another promise that has been fulfilled wisely and that everyone will benefit from. Work that together with all the ongoing projects, both infrastructural and measures through which we are investing directly in sports, we are putting sport at the top of the government’s agenda, “said the Minister for Education and Sport Clifton Grima.
Both agreements were signed one between the Social and National Development Fund (NDSF) with SportMalta and the other with the Malta Motorsport Federation. Through the agreement, the NDSF will transfer around € 16 million to the National Motorsport Center in Ħal Far.
