Opposition and Nationalist Party leader Bernard Grech promisted a new Nationalist government would help rejuvenate band clubs, feast enthusiasts, and artisans to ensure that Malta’s culture and traditions were kept alive and flourishing.
Speaking at a Nationalst Party rally in Kordin, Paola, Bernard Grech promised a raft of ways to help feasts and clubs including providing free of charge, all permits and police services, LESA, Transport Malta, ARMS and fire engine services.
He also promised that electric services for festas would be covered by Heritage Malta and clubs would get refunds on the cost of insurance for fireworks insurance.
The Nationalist Party leader urged supporters to reclaim power, saying that Malta was at a crossroads.
Bernard Grech attacked the government’s Covid-19 policy of insisting that people who were not vacinnated against the virus should quarantine. He said it was not democratic.
The Opposition Leader highlighted the proposal for a new tram system linking many parts of Malta saying it could be up and running within five years.
