A 28-year-old motorcyclist from Nepal died when a truck which crashed into the central barrier on the Aldo Moro carriageway on Wednesday morning. The truck knocked over a lamp post which the motorbike rider then collided with.
Members of the Civil Protection Department and a medical team were called to the scene.
The injured man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital but died shortly afterwards.
