The Prime Minister Robert Abela inaugurated a three star hotel in Mellieħa with an investment of € 8 million.
The Viu 57 Hotel offers a unique view of the picturesque bay beach and is equipped with 57 rooms.
During the visit, Prime Minister Robert Abela had the chance to explain how the government will continue to incentivize economic activity even with initiatives such as the tax refund and the additional check announced yesterday which will mean € 70 million in people’s pockets.
Prime Minister Robert also had the opportunity to hear how the management of the hotel, despite the pandemic challenge, kept up with all the staff, amounting to 15 people. During his visit to the various floors of the hotel, the Prime Minister also met with a number of staff from various departments and thanked them for their daily work in the hospitality sector, with the aim of offering the best possible experience for tourists to choose our country.
