Prime Minister Robert Abela and Finance Minister Clyde Caruana addressed a press conference in Marsaxlokk on Thursday morning where they announced a number of Budget measures that have been implemented.
“As announced in the budget we have strengthened the tax refund check. That way we will invest € 25 million.
To further stimulate economic growth and even address the realities of the pandemic, we have launched a check for workers, students, pensioners and those on some form of benefit. Another € 45 million.
Our country is strong with the resources to help businesses and workers. This is a wonderful time for Gozitans and Maltese”.
