Anthony Sevasta will be appointed Director of the Asset Recovery Office, who will be the Chief Executive Officer of this Office. This appointment took place after consultation with the Asset Recovery Board in accordance with the law, which unanimously agreed to the appointment. He has served as Chief Executive Officer of Identity Malta for the past four years. For the previous four years he served in the same body as Chief Officer in the Department of Information and Communication Technology. In his career he has served in various other roles in various entities and institutions. He holds a Masters in Business Information Technology.
The Ministry announced that Mr Anthony Sevasta will take up the post of director with immediate effect. He will be replacing Dr Kenneth Camilleri who has been the Acting Director of this office for the past few months. Minister Zammit Lewis thanked Dr Camilleri for his service, while wishing Anthony Sevasta well for this new post.
