Opposition Leader Bernard Grech said it was not true that the Nationalist Party had tried to block EU funds for a gas pipeline for Malta.
Speaking at a political meeting in Santa Lucia, he attacked the government on a number of issues including its handling of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He told supporters that the Nationalist Party wanted to end Covid-19 restrictions, something the government had been against but now are in fact going to ease measures from February.
On the PN’s anti-corruption Bills, Bernard Grech said the PN wanted to strengthen the country’s good governance and not turn it into a mafia state, as claimed by the prime minister.
