Archbishop Charles Scicluna has issued a formal warning against Fr David Muscat instructing the priest to cease making “inflammatory and hurtful comments” in public.
The priest’s comments on Facebook, in which he claims that being gay is worse than being possessed by the devil, have led to a storm of protests and now the Archbishop has weighed in with a formal warning.
The Archbishop apologised for the comments and ordered Fr Muscat to remove his social media posts.
