Prime Minister Robert Abela has again made a strong appeal in favor of taking the booster against Covid-19.
During an interview on ONE Radio on Thursday morning he spoe of how in recent months people in the country have lived close to normal due to the vaccine.
He stated that we have seen in recent months how summer work has been saved and even in the following months we have had a strong recovery.
Prime Minister Robert Abela explained how the Health Authorities had indicated how the criterion to be used is the number of people in hospitals and not the number of cases.
He stated that according to the latest figures, the situation in hospitals is still stable.
He reiterated that they were being cautious because of the volatile nature of the pandemic and emphasized that taking the booster at this time would be crucial to staying close to normal.
He stated how the country wants to attack with the vaccine and defend with restrictions.
He said that our country must accept that certain restrictions are important at this moment in the world.
