After several days of investigations and observations by the Police of the Anti Squadron Drug, a 29-year-old Italian resident of San Pawl il-Baħar was been arrested in connection with drugs suspected to be cocaine and cannabis, allegedly for trafficking.
Police surrounded the man in St. Paul’s Bay on Wednesday. In a search of a residence and in a garage in the same locality and later in a garage in Msida, the Police found about a kilo and a half cocaine and about 15 kilos of cannabis, with a street value in excess of € 450,000. They were also found €250,000 in cash.
