A 71-year-old woman from San Gwann was seriously injured in a hit and run accident in the town on Thursday morning.
She was hit by a truck which allegedly failed to stop.
The accident happened in Birkirkara Street at 10 o’clock this morning.
The injured woman was taken to Mater Dei Hospital.
