A protest in Valletta today calling for the resignation of Speaker Anglu Farrugia and MP Rosianne Cutajar has been backed by former prime minister Lawrence Gonzi.
In a Facebook post, he wrote, ““When activities are held to encourage the people of Malta to send a message to the government of the day, we should answer these calls.”
Organised by Repubblika, Occupy Justice and Manuel Delia, the protest will be held outside Parliament at 6pm and is directed at the Speaker of the House for failing to censure MP Rosianne Cutajar who had been found to have breached Parliamentary ethics by the Standards Commissioner.
