This morning, the Armed Forces of Malta rescued a group of 43 migrants who were in distress at sea, including twelve females and two minors.
The migrants were provided with first assistance, sadly the condition of one of the migrants deteriorated upon arrival and they passed away.
The rest of the migrants are being provided with medical attention.
