A new Malta to Sicily ferry service begins today as Ponte Ferries finally get their delayed operations underway.
Originally planned to begin services last August, the launch was delayed by a rival company contesting the operating permit in Augusta. That has now been cleared and Ponte Ferries will be operating five sailing a week.
