The top two in the premiership meet today in what could be a crucial match in the title hunt.
Hibernians are three points clear despite being held to a 1-1 draw last week against Valletta while B’Kara missed the chance to go level on points after losing 3-2 to Sirens.
A win for Hibernians would open a six point lead and possibly put them out of sight of most of the chasing pack.
B’Kara cannot afford to drop any more points if they are to be serious title contenders.
As for the rest of the premier league, nine teams are closely locked in a battle for four places in the top half of the table.
Valletta, on the back of a thrilling draw against Hibernians last week take on bottom side Sta Lucia who are still without a win this season.
Sirens, third in the table, meet mid-table Hamrun Spartans.
Balzan play Gudja, two sides still with a fighting chance of finishing in the top half.
On Sunday just a single point separates Floriana and Gzira.
Bottom side Sliema play second from bottom Mosta. A win for either would be an enormous boost for their hopes of premier survival.
