Malta’s Finance Minister will be among the high profile guest speakers at a lunch focusing on the future of the island’s pensions sector on 16th September.
The ‘Future is Now: Pensions Awareness in Malta’ event – organised and sponsored by STM Malta Pension Services Limited – will be held at the Westin Dragonara Resort Hotel, St Julian’s. It is aimed at CEOs and executives who wish to gain an insight into the future of the island’s pensions industry from experts in the public and private sector.
STM Malta Pension Services Limited CEO, Deborah Schembri, will give the opening address and introduce speeches from Finance Minister Clyde Caruana and Dr Michael Farrugia, Minister for Senior Citizens and Active Ageing. They will be followed by contributions from a panel of speakers – David Spiteri Gingell, from Gemma, Ministry for Social Justice and Solidarity, the Family and Children’s rights; David Agius MP, Deputy Leader of the Nationalist Party and pensions sustainability spokesperson; Dr Marthese Portelli, CEO, Malta Chamber of Commerce; Gerald Xuereb, Relationship Manager and Business Development, STM Malta; and Karl Micallef, Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer, Curmi & Partners.
