Prime Minister Robert Abela has called for the National Cybersecurity Committee to use the knowledge of the members within it, and the fact that it brings together all stakeholders, to come up with proposals on how to strengthen the fight against cyber crimes.
Recently there has been a spate of fake messages and e-mails on on-line media with the aim of misleading the public.
Both Prime Minister Robert Abela and Opposition Leader Bernard Grech have been victims of fake e-mails.
