Prime Minister Robert Abela, along with Minister for Tourism and Consumer Protection Clayton Bartolo, inaugurated a four-star hotel in St Paul’s Bay with an investment of € 24 million.
The Seaview Hotel reopened on July 1 this year, after the building was completely demolished and rebuilt on the same site where the first stone was laid in -1976.
Prime Minister Robert Abela had the opportunity to hear how this hotel has undergone a complete transformation over the last few years that it has been open. During the visit, the Prime Minister also met with a number of workers from various departments and thanked them for the work they carry out daily with dedication, with the aim of offering the best possible experience to tourists who choose. to our country.
From a three-star hotel with less than 50 rooms, today the Seaview Hotel employs 50 people and has a total of 180 rooms. Today it is equipped with excellent customer service facilities, including an infinity pool, three restaurants, a gym and a car park.
Hotel manager Josette Vella said the future is bright and she is optimistic about the future.
“Our country is among the best in Europe in terms of vaccination rate and this fact is attracting more tourists who are feeling safer when they choose Malta as their destination,” concluded Ms. Vella.
