A 62-year-old Canadian man has been arrested and charged with importing and trafficking drugs after a substantial amount of cannabis was found hidden inside cigarettes that had arrived by post.
Officers searched the man’s house in Swieqi where more drugs were found
The man was arrested on Friday following a joint operation between police drugs squad officers and customs officials.
