With the opening of these clinics, seniors still living in the community will be able to attend psychotherapy sessions, thanks to this free service being offered by the Department for Active Aging and Care in -Community.
Minister Farrugia explained that although the clinics are located in these three localities, all the elderly in Malta will be able to make use of this service, in the nearest clinic where they live. Psychotherapists will work with the goal that residents in nursing homes, as well as those living in the community, will be able to benefit from both individual sessions and group sessions, as needed.
