The Minister of Interior, National Security and Law Enforcement Byron Camilleri inaugurated an investment in new machinery in the Department of Civil Protection amounting to € 300,000. This included a truck with a generator built in it to illuminate an accident site and two logistics vans that will be equipped with all kinds of equipment for various circumstances.
Minister Camilleri stated that this is a Government that is making unprecedented investments in order to strengthen the security of our country. “This is what we promised, and this is exactly what we are doing,” reiterated Minister Camilleri.
He listed the fact that during this year alone, the budget for the Department of Civil Protection reached almost € 8 million. “These are unprecedented investments and this is possible because the Government truly believes in the holistic security of our country,” stressed Minister Camilleri.
