More than 30 local councils have already been consulted on the areas that need the most attention.
Following the success of the ‘Beautify Our Country’ campaign, which saw a large number of streets and public places cleaned by Public Service workers, the Principal Permanent Secretary Mr. Mario Cutajar announced that this coordination to beautify our country will begins to be done on a regular basis, while campaigns have already begun on social media to maintain the beautification that has taken place.
This was said during a visit that the Principal Permanent Secretary made to various workers who were engaged in Birżebbuġa where various works were being carried out, from changing rails and maintenance, to general cleaning and painting work.
