Prime Minister Robert Abela has given his commitment that the government will assist the three philanthropic organizations that have suffered the impact of a technical problem in the telephone systems in a fundraiser that took place a few months ago.
When he visited the House of Providence and met with representatives of these organizations, the Prime Minister said that the government feels the obligation that certain projects do not fall behind and will therefore ensure that there are initiatives to achieve the objectives of these associations as far as possible. Above all, the Prime Minister explained, these are initiatives at the heart of which are people who need help and support.
At the Providence House, the Prime Minister heard from the representatives of the three organizations how this technical problem affected their plans. On behalf of Dar tal-Providenza, the Prime Minister Fr Martin Micallef welcomed the Prime Minister, the Malta Community Chest Fund was attended by the Chairperson Marlene Mizzi and the Caritas, the Director Anthony Gatt.
