A 19-year-old Egyptian man was arrested after being caught with a quantity of synthetic drugs during a patrol by the Valletta District Police.
At around a quarter to one on Thursday morning officers patrolling Herbert Ganado Gardens, in Floriana, spotted a group of people who seemed to be acting suspiciously.
A search found one of the men, a 19-year-old, to be in possession of 12 packets of what appeared to be a synthetic drug.
He is expected to appear in court this morning
