29 Police Constables have been promoted to Police Sergeants during a brief ceremony at the Police General Headquarters in Floriana.
The ceremony was presided by the Minister for Home Affairs, National Security and Law Enforcement Dr Byron Camilleri and the Police Commissioner Angelo Gafà.”Our job is a vocation that we are turning into a profession, as reflected in the Force’s new mission statement – to Provide a Professional and Trusted Policing Service to Ensure Safety and Security in Partnership with the Community”. Both the Minister and the Commissioner thanked the new sergeants for their commitment and wished them well in their upcoming duties.
