The Speaker expresses his deepest sorrow at the passing of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh earlier today.
In letters addressed to the Speaker of the House of Commons, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, and to the Lord Speaker of the House of Lords, The Rt. Hon. Lord Peter Norman Fowler Kt PC, Speaker Farrugia conveyed, on behalf of the Members of the House of Representatives his sincerest condolences to the Speaker of the House of Commons and the Lord Speaker of the House of Lords, as well as the members of both Houses of the United Kingdom and to the members of the Royal Family.
