Parliamentary Secretary for Sport, Recreation and Voluntary Organizations Clifton Grima, during a visit to the works on the Sirens ASC swimming pool, explained that the project is at an advanced stage. With an investment of around € 3 million, this regenerated swimming pool will begin to be enjoyed by the public in June 2021.
Parliamentary Secretary Grima stressed that this investment in a state-of-the-art facility shows how much government is on the shoulders of people in communities in order to make a difference in people’s lives.
“This is a facility that will protect water sports and that will give the necessary tools to our athletes. All this was done because we believe that sport is an essential part of the life of the Maltese and Gozitan communities, ”said the Parliamentary Secretary.
