Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health Chris Fearne has calmed fears of the use of the Astra Zeneca vaccine following some reports that the vaccine leads to blood clots in some people.
Minister Fearne said there is no need for concern and if there was he would take immediate measures.
Eleven European countries have paused use of Astra Zeneca vaccine however the overwhelming opinion among British scientists is that there is no certain link between blood clots and the Oxford-AstraZeneca jab.
