Prime Minister Robert Abela is to announce further Covid-19 restrictions to tackle the current rise in new cases.
The PM will shortly hold a press conference at Castille.
Among new measures announced:
Schools to close from Monday, lessons will be on-line.
Non-essential shops will close from tomorrow, Thursday 11th March.
Hotels to provide room service only, all other hotel services stopped.
All sports stopped.
Gyms, cinemas and theatres to close.
Only 4 people can meet together in public.
Only essential travel to Gozo.
These and all other measures to remain in place until 11th April.
