President George Vella visited Lufthansa Technik Malta.
During this visit, the President noted with satisfaction the work being done by the company in the aviation industry and the fact that it employs over 550 workers, with an almost absolute majority of them Maltese.
The President explained how while this industry was not part of the traditional Maltese trades, the opportunities in this field together with the skills of the workers led to their practices being developed in a way that they are even implemented worldwide where Lufthansa Technik operates.
