Christopher Plummer,best known for his role as Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music, has died at the age of 91.
Tributes have poured in from stars of screen and stage with his Sound of Music co-star Dame Julie Andrews describing him as a consummate actor and a cherished friend.”
